A web scraping layer continuously monitors news sources, Companies House filings, LinkedIn signals, and sector press for C-suite and NED changes. Events are scored by urgency — an MBI or sudden departure ranks higher than a planned succession.

Curated Watchlist from Existing Relationships
HW Group's CRM drives which companies are monitored. Existing client relationships, warm prospects, and target sectors are mapped to a watchlist — so the feed only surfaces events that are commercially relevant.

Profile the Outgoing, Find the Replacement
When a change is detected, the system profiles the outgoing executive using publicly available data — tenure, function, sector background, company size, geography. These parameters seed the Apollo.io query to return the most relevant candidates.

Build the outgoing exec profiling module. Connect to Apollo.io API. Define parameter mapping — how a "CFO of a £500m retail business" translates into Apollo search filters. Validate accuracy against known good outcomes.

Build the front-end feed interface. News events displayed with urgency indicator, company context, and one-click "Show Candidates" expansion. Candidate cards show match rationale, contact info, and CRM push button.
